BROWNE, Beverly  - On July 16, 2021, Beverly Browne went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Beverly was a member of Pickering Pentecostal Church and was very active in her community.

Born in Jamaica on October 8, 1953, Beverly immigrated to England in 1961, then to Canada in 1975 where she worked as a journalist and freelance writer in the Durham region.

She was one of the founding members of the Congress of Black Women (Oshawa Chapter) and was actively involved with them for over seven years.

Beverly passed peacefully at the age of 67 surrounded by immediate family.

She will lovingly be remembered by Milton Browne, her husband of 27 years. She will be sadly missed by her children; Melanie, Joel and Charlene, along with her son in law, Lee. She was a cherished Grandmother to Patrick, London and Cicilee.

Beverly was a loving sister to Leighton (predeceased) & Carlton Edwards, cousin to Icelyn McIntyre and "Auntie Bubbly" to many extended family members.

Arrangements are entrusted with Mount Lawn Funeral Home, Whitby
