* As of Sept. 22, 2021:  Funeral services (including visitations) are part of the Goverment

of Ontario's 'Vaccine Passport' requirement, If Held Indoors.

This includes Funeral Services at Funeral Home, Cemeteries and Crematoriums, If Held Indoors.

* From Sept. 22 to Oct. 12, 2021:
Funeral Guests may attend an Indoor Funeral, if they have Proof of a Negative COVID-19 Rapid Test,
taken 48 hours preceding the Funeral.

* After Oct. 12, 2021, all attendees must show proof of vaccination or written proof of a Medical
Exemption from a doctor or nurse.

There are no other exemptons for people attending funerals.

---Except for:
* Those presenting written proof of a Medical Exemption from a doctor or nurse; and
* Children under the age of 12.

* These measures do not apply to outdoor funerals.

* Everyone must still wear a mask or face covering.

Armour BerthaARMOUR, Bertha Mary   -  October 6, 1922 – September 11, 2021 

Passed away peacefully at Hillsdale Estates LTC on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the age of 98.

Bertha is survived by her nephew Gerry Cornish, her nieces Mary Newell and Wendy Edmonson, and many grand nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents George and Nellie (Fern) Armour and her sister Nellie Cornish.

Bertha was a bank teller at the Dominion Bank (now T.D.) Downtown Oshawa prior to furthering her education and graduating as a Registered Nurse.

She worked in emerge, operating room and other departments of the Oshawa General Hospital, retiring in the late 70’s.

She was active in the Hampton community and was a member of Hampton United Church as well as an avid gardener. A graveside interment with immediate family members will be held as per Bertha’s wishes.

If so desired, donations to the  CHARITY of your choice, Hampton United Church or Lakeridge Health Oshawa would be appreciated.
