Mario was known for his great sense of humour, his generosity & his deep love for his family. His enthusiasm for life & love of sports encompassed his love for swimming, biking, baseball & an overall healthy lifestyle.

Mario received his apprenticeship as a Milwright at Noranda Mines where he spent 12 years building his career. He then moved to Oshawa to join the General Motors team & was a devoted employee for 33 years.

He is survived by his loving wife & best friend Joan (nee Deschamps) of 63 years, much loved dad to Paula Cicci-Bowles (Perry), Dean Cicci (Jackie Green) & Tricia Lynde (Steve).

Adored grandfather to Kevin (Tanya), Justin (Alyssa), Aidan (Kristina), Connor, Kendra, Kurtis, Camryn.

Step grandfather to Carissa (Tyun) Sarah (Brandon), Brittany (Andrew), Courtney (Todd).  Mario will be fondly missed by 3 great grandchildren Max, Sam & Jack. 9 step great grandchildren Liem, Keoh, Grayson, Emma, Rowyn, Lennox, Imogen, Lorelei and Ambrose.

Missed by his sister Loretta Cicci, sister in law Vivian Cicci, also predeceased by his parents Pasquale Cicci and Pierrina Cicci, sister Vera Letourneau and brother Reno Cicci.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa & Bowmanville for the extreme professionalism, dedication & compassion they demonstrated while caring for Mario.
