KELLY, Margaret - (1932 – 2021) - It is with heavy hearts we announce that on Thursday September 16, 2021 our adored mom peacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa, Ontario.

Predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years Brian, and her sister Phyllis McKee (nee: Ward).

Her pride and joy were always her family. Beloved mother of Linda Melanson (Paul) and Steven (Andrea).

Idolized grandmother of Susan Di llio (Marco), Jerry Melanson (Brigitte), Sean (Ashley), Patricia Brezina (Robert) and Janice Yerex (Galen). Cherished great-grandmother of Braiedon, Nyla, Drake, Nathan, Sawyer, Aria, Kai, and Oliver.

Lovingly remembered by her brother Brian Ward, her sister Kathleen Cunliffe of Birmingham, UK, and her extended family and friends in Canada and England.

Born in Birmingham, UK (1932), she emigrated with the family in 1969 to her second home, Canada.

Heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful heroes at Orchard Villa Long Term Care. Special thanks to Ann, Michelle, and John of the Pine unit - Your dedication, professionalism, care and support for Mom, particularly during this difficult COVID time, is truly appreciated.

Also, a special thank you to the amazing doctors and nurses at Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering and Oshawa. The compassion and care that Mom and the family received over these past few days was nothing short of outstanding – Thank you and God bless you all!

Funeral and interment arrangements with Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her dear husband Brian, reunited again for eternity. Interment of Margaret’s cremated remains to take place at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mom to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
