GUNTHARDT, Christina Charlotte   -  February 21, 1960 – December 24, 2021

"Be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody Control the Controllable Faith over fear Do what you can while you can"

These were Christina's mantras she lived by every day and anyone who knew her heard these on a regular basis.

These meant a lot to Christina and helped her through the last two years during her struggle with cancer, which ultimately took her life on the morning of December 24, 2021 at Lake Ridge Health Oshawa.

Christina was predeceased by her mother and father Irmgard and Walter, mother- and father-in-law Helen and Harry, Uncles and Aunts Reiner and Jan, Joe and Trudy, Rita and Carl, Hans and Trudy and Ulrich.

Christina is survived and sadly missed by her husband Grant, brother Walter (Renate), sister Renate (Henry), brother Peter, brother Charles (Robin), brother-in-law Russell (Kathryn), sister-in-law Darlene, nieces Krista (Marshall), Candice (Mike), Kate, Liz, nephews Erik, Kory (Lindsey) and Matthew, great-nieces and nephews, Zachary, Michael, Jessica, Damen, Taylor, Natalie and Lincoln.

Christina will also be missed by her many cousins in Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Philippines and by the many people whose hearts she touched.

Growing up in Ajax, Christina was the middle of 5 children and from an early age was active in sports and continued playing ringette into her 50's.

Grant and Christina became the perfect team, Grant playing the music and Christina taking the photos.

Family and friends were everything to Christina and sharing the love of the cottage became a regular event multiple times per year.

A Memorial Service will take place at the McEachnie Funeral home in Ajax when it is safe to do so.

Memorial Donations in memory of Christina can be made to Covenant House or Ovarian Cancer Canada .
