GREENSLADE, Elfried J. Greenslade - It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Elfriede J. Greenslade on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at the age of 83 with her children by her side.
Predeceased by husband William J Greenslade.
Loving mother to Nancy (Jay) Simons, Jeff Birkle, Jennifer (Richie) Towpyha
Beloved Grandmother to Joshua & Ethan Simons, Myles & Owen Towpyha.
Cherished sister to Helga Peters.
Elfi was a kind soul, full of humour and spirit. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met and will be deeply missed by all.
Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Merrilee Brown, Stephanie Curran, and all the exceptional staff at Oak Ridges Hospice.
You are all Angels on this earth that helped guide our mother through the last stage of her life without pain or discomfort, and for that we are forever grateful.
Friends and family may gather at Low and Low Funeral Home, Port Perry on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., with service at at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception.
To honour Elfi, donations can be made to the Oak Ridges Hospice and/or the Canadian Cancer Society.
