ELLIG, Edward "Ed" - It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Edward “Ed” Ellig in his 84th year on February 28, 2022 at Southlake Residential Care Village from a lengthy illness of Parkinson’s, cancer and neuropathy.
Ed was the beloved husband and soulmate of Catherine (nee Menar) for nearly 56 years.
He is predeceased by his 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He will be dearly missed by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and his friend and helper Moe.
Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
If desired, donations can be made in his memory to The Parkinson’s Society, Canadian Cancer Society or the Sandford United Church.
