BLONGE, Roger - It is with great sadness that the family of Roger Blonge announce his sudden passing on Sunday, March 7, 2022 at the age of 66.
Roger was born in Stouffville, Ontario but resided most of his life in Port Perry.
Roger retired from the Durham District School Board with 28 years of service.
Roger is survived by his son Kristopher Fielding, his cherished sister Diane (Ben) Nieuwenhuis and his former partner of 20 years Carrie Fielding.
Uncle to Niki Dean, Harmony (Connor), Krissie (Sam) Horton, Dylan (Lindsay) and Bowen (Jessie). Special Great Uncle to Mavrick (Best Baconator Buddy), Colt and baby boy. Roger is predeceased by his parents Harry and Katherine Blonge, his beloved siblings Susan Dean and Jeff (Lisa).
He will also be missed by his special friends Pete (Pat) Kneale, Ron Dudley, Frank Lew and many more friends.
A Celebration of Roger’s Life will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Port Perry, on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 1p.m. until 4p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sick Kids Foundation, Port Perry Hospital or a CHARITY of your choice.
