SWANBERG, Akke Swanberg - Passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at the age of 82, peacefully with his loving wife Ulla by his side. Born in Nässjö, Sweden, Akke and his family immigrated to Canada in 1972.
Akke, beloved husband for 62 years to Ulla (née Lindh), loving father to Johan (Lauren), Sonja, grandfather to Ashley (David), and Amanda (Michael).
Akke was also a very proud great grandpa to Lucia, August, Freja and River.
Akke had a great positive impact on many, both in his work life and also in the community as he served faithfully in his local church.
He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 301 Rossland Rd E. Oshawa on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with Funeral Service to follow, at 11:00 a.m.
Donations in memory of Akke may be given to the Alzheimer Society, or Lakeridge Health Oshawa - Durham Regional Cancer Centre.
