SABISTON, Lorne Sabiston   -  After a lengthy illness, Lorne in his 66th year, chose to take advantage of the ability to die with dignity.

On June 2, 2022 Lorne passed away leaving behind his wife of 42 years Beverly (née Pallister) his children Jess (Mike), Jay, Stephanie (Jeremy) his grandson Jacob and late granddaughter Isabella.

Although the past years were difficult, we all need to remember the fun Lorne - the Lorne that illness took away.

The Lorne that never left a party too early or a joke unsaid.  Hosting many events at his home in Oshawa, Courtice and then Bowmanville, no one was ever turned away from a good meal, or a good laugh.  Lorne loved life and loved to travel with his partner.

Lorne, you fought long and hard to stay with us, now it’s time for you to find peace and comfort. I will miss you forever my bffffs.

Aside from his immediate family, Lorne also leaves behind his mother-in-law Grace (late Denny), sister Darlene, brothers Rob and Rich, his brothers-in-law Tom (Patty), David (Peter), Dan (Kari), Jimi (Paula), many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his brother Jay and parents Joe and Marg.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Toronto General Transplant Unit at http://uhnfoundation.ca, Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, or Oshawa ICU.
