GILEO, James Anthony Gileo - 1928-2022
We sadly announce the passing of James Anthony Gileo, at the age of 94, on June 7, 2022 at Thortonview Long Term Care.
Jim was the loving husband of Patricia Louise (nee Smith).
The loving father of Donna (Peter Weston), Sandi (Tim Coleman), Jimmy (Jacqueline) and Trisha (Vince Gaudet).
A wonderful Grandpa of nine grandchildren – Richard, Melissa (Andrei), Will (Ally), Jeff, Kyle (Andrea), Justin, Jasper, Harley and Jacob and a Great Grandpa of the twins – Mia and Max.
Jim was predeceased by Bill, Lena, Chuck, Kathryn, Kay, Jennie, Joe and John.
He will be missed dearly by his sister Josie. He was devoted to his loving wife and family. He also held a special place in his heart for his many nieces and nephews.
Jim was born in Toronto on May 12, 1928.
At Thortonview Long Term Care Jim received wonderful care and love from the staff to make his days comfortable.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff and Thortonview and the Village of Taunton Mills.
He enjoyed Golfing, Bowling, Cards as well as trips to Las Vegas and Niagara Falls.
He loved his true best friend Queenie and his “Spar-Klen” clean Buick.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 11, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax.
