SCULLY, John Melville Scully - 1934 - 2022
We are announcing with heavy hearts the passing of Mel beloved husband of 62 years to Barbara Scully, daughters - Sandra and Karen - cherished grandsons - Nicholas and Mitchell Valentine.
Uncle and great Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brother the late Allan (Barbara), sister the late Barbara Curphey (Bill), sister in law the late Mary Lou Garland (the late Gus) and sister in law Linda Haineault (the late Michael).
Mel was the love of my life and best friend up to the end of his journey.
Together we shared so much and enjoyed so many interests it would be difficult to list them all, but here are a few. He loved all sports but especially hockey.
He was a dedicated Boston Bruins' fan, he loved cheering at his grandsons' hockey games and he shared the love of the game with his daughter Karen.
With his daughter Sandra, he shared a love of movies. The family will miss his knowledge of financing and income tax reporting among many other skills.
We will cherish our memories of Mel, his witty sense of humour and his love. He will always be in our hearts forever.
His Celebration of Life will be decided at a later date.
