BOYD, Kevin Boyd - October 19, 1983 – November 30, 2022
It is with profound sadness that the family announces the sudden and unexpected passing of Kevin at home on Wednesday November 30th 2022 in his 40th year.
Beloved by his mother Holly Simpson, survived by his father Doug Boyd (Nona).
Beloved brother of Brian Boyd (Pilar Carr) and Travis Boyd, step brother to Darryl McGowan.
Dear grandson of Alice Simpson. Cherished by Jackie Pierce, Michael Ryan and Kevin Ryan.
Adored by his niece Ayla Carr-Boyd. He will be deeply missed by Holly Darby and many friends.
Predeceased by his grandparents Christine and Howard Boyd and Grandfather Gilbert Simpson, Uncle Michael Simpson, and Uncle Bob Boyd.
Survived by Aunt Sandra Rundle (Dean), Uncle Robert Simpson (Deb), Uncle Gilbert Simpson (Sheila), Uncle Barry Simpson (Jay), Aunt Sharon Boyd, Uncle Scott Boyd and Cousin Kerry (Will).
Visitation will take place on Friday, December 9, 2022 at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, 905-579-6787 (South of Taunton Road, enter through gates off Dryden Blvd.) from 11 am until time of service in the chapel at 12noon.
Following the service the family will gather at the LEGION BRANCH 43 (471 Simcoe Street S, Oshawa) for a Celebration of Life from 2 pm – 6 pm.
