Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with family by his side on Tuesday December 20th, 2022.
Beloved husband of Barbara for 56 years.
Predeceased by his parents Mike and Vera. Survived by his loving brother Gary (the late Judy), predeceased by his sister Maryann Shingler (Roger).
Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Ruth (late Milton).
Cherished uncle of John Shingler (Janna) and their daughter Brooke, Krystalann Shingler (Ted Biribin), Brenda (Paul), Wayne (Patti) and Larry (Sonya) and predeceased by Edward, Glenn (Marg) and John (Lina). Great-uncle and great-great uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Mike was a member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Church and a long-time member of the Motor City Car Club.
For many years Mike did appraisals for Custom Auto.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Tuesday December 27th, 2022 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 28th, 2022 at St. Stephen the Great and Nectarius Romanian Orthodox Church (261 Bloor St. E., Oshawa) at 10 am.
