RAMNARINE, Marlene Sylvia Ramnarine - JUNE 30, 1959 – JANUARY 9, 2023
Age 63, of Whitby, Ontario passed away on Monday, January 9th, 2023.
Known for her tender heart, gracious charm and strength, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and dear friend.
Survived by her loving husband Omadath aka Charlie and her precious daughters Ria, Sobrina (Jamie) and Reema (Shaun). Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Dominic, Tristan, Marcus and Ashton, sister to Margaret, Gloria, Jordy, Mary, Victoria, Gregory and Carol, also known as Aunty Grandma to Shron, David and Deeana, Aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
Alongside her husband, she worked diligently to build a wonderful life for her family here in Canada.
She was brave, compassionate, determined and her charisma defined her. Marlene loved to entertain family and friends with her hospitality and extravagant meals. Spending time with her grandchildren and travelling with Omadath by her side.
There’s so much more about her that words cannot describe! Her infectious smile, contagious laughter, dedication, generosity and elegance will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family appreciates all your prayers, love and support during this difficult time.
A closed casket visitation for Marlene will be held Sunday January 15th, 2023 from 12:30pm-2:00pm, the funeral service will be at 2:00pm followed by a reception at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario.
