Logan MaryLOGAN, Mary Cecilia   -  On Friday, February 10, 2023, Mary Cecilia Logan of Whitby, Ontario with her daughter Lisa and son Edward by her side passed away at the age of 79 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Lisa and Edward (Blanca); grandchildren: Jonas, Ryan, Kieran, John and James; brother, Gerry Quinn; sister-in-law, Joyce Quinn; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, William; brother, Edward; and her parents: Edward & Christina Quinn.

Cecilia was born in Maryhill, Glasgow, Scotland.

At the age of 13, she immigrated to Canada with her family. In Toronto, she lived on Logan Avenue with her mum, dad and brothers.

It was there in 1966 that Cecilia would meet William, her future husband, after he immigrated to Canada. Cecilia spent her early adult years working the teletype at Royal Bank head office in downtown Toronto.

She later became a stay-at-home mum when she and William had kids. Cecilia would find time volunteering for hotdog lunch days at her kids’ school.

Years later, when her kids reached their late teen years, Cecilia returned to the workforce.

She worked full time at Hallmark’s head office in North York. She really loved working there and more importantly loved the people she worked with.

Through her retirement years she, lived with her daughter, her son, at Lynde Creek Gardens.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and will be communicated by her children.
