MIRANDA, Joaquim Nunes Rodrigues -
Passed away peacefully on Sunday March 5th, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Joaquim in his 76th year, leaves behind his wife Souzel (nee Ribeiro).
Dear father of Sandra Ruas (the late Ramiro), Rosemary Whelpdale and David Miranda (Aurelie).
Grandfather of Stephen, Valentina, Toni, Cody and Alya.
Great grandfather of Kaiden and Ezekiel.
Predeceased by his parents Joaquim and Rosa (nee Barbosa).
Brother of Antonio Jose Miranda (Manuela) and the late Rosa Maria Miranda.
Joaquim worked with many different restaurants and stores supplying them with Portuguese specialties in the Greater Toronto Area.
He loved spending time with his family both at home or while vacationing in Sauble Beach.
Visitation will be held at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Monday March 13th from 6pm to 8pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday March 14th at 11am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, in memory of Joaquim to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
