PANCHAM, Bernice Wilma  -

July 3rd, 1935- April 7th, 2023.

We are saddened to announce that sweet Wilma Bernice Pancham passed away on Good Friday, April 7th, at the age of 87.

Bernice was born in San Fernando Trinidad and Tobago on Corinth Road, to be exact.

Bernice was married to the love of her life for 53 years, Bobby Pancham, whom she spent many beautiful years with, up until her very last moments.

Bernice and Bobby met in Trinidad and got married in 1974.

Bernice is the daughter of Muriel Agnes Wilson and Joseph Thomas Wilson.

She is the eldest sister of 8 children. Deceased Sylvester Anthony (Edna); Deceased Hollis (Daisy); Deceased Edward (Janice); Cynthia Wilson Thomas (Hilton); Nathaniel Leon (Carol); Emmanuel Patrick; and Lystra Wilson. This group makes up the Corinthians as we all know them.

She went on to have a fulfilling nursing career and paved the way for many in her family. She also enjoyed singing and sang in the church choir at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian church for many years.

She was truly a patient woman; this Biblical scripture below summarizes the characteristics of Bernice, which is from 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.
“Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, and it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

Our sweet Bernice Wilma Pancham has gone to meet her Creator and is at peace. She will be deeply missed by many.

Bernice’s viewing and service will be held at Mount Lawn Funeral Home.
The viewing will be on Thursday, April 13th, from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM EST.
The funeral service will be on Friday, April 14th, starting at 10:00 AM EST.
