Passed away peacefully on April 10, 2023 at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, in her 100th year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Bohdan (1994).
Loving mother of Irka Grant, Lesia Jawny, and Zenia Jawny.
Cherished grandmother of Aaron Grant and Cara Grant (Anthony Pollo) and great-grandmother of Matteo, Owen, and Avery.
Anna was born in Ukraine and immigrated to Canada, where she married Bohdan and they raised their 3 daughters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. with Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa).
A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church. Interment to follow at St. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to help the war and veterans in Ukraine, Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal.
