Moreau BrendaMOREAU, Brenda (nee Mary Brenda Stead) 

DECEMBER 8, 1948 – JUNE 4, 2023 

 

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday June 4th, 2023 at the age of 74.

 

Dearly beloved wife of Tony for 51 years.

 

Loving mother of Kristina Moreau, the late Marc Anthony Moreau and Karen Moreau.

 

Cherished Nanny of Michael Moreau and Maria Grace Moreau.

 

Survived by her siblings Donna Delaney (Dave Butt), Debbie Garland, Doreen McFarlane (Gary Barton), Christine Webber (Randy), Fred Stead (Edna) and Carol Stead. Predeceased by her mother Mary Lynch, and her siblings Phil Stead, Charles “Bob” Stead, Jim Garland and Ed Delaney.

 

Brenda will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. She will be remembered for her service and dedication to her country, community and family.

 

Having served 16 years in the Canadian Armed Forces and spending her remaining years providing endless love and support to all who were blessed to know her. Her strength and compassion will remain forever engraved in our hearts. 

 

Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday June 8th from 12:00 noon until time of service in the chapel at 1:30 p.m.
