COSTIN, Merle Costin - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Merle Helene Costin (nee Stevenson) in the presence of family at Southlake Regional Health Centre on January 27, 2024.
Family was Merle’s greatest joy. She is predeceased by her parents, Doris Falconer and Lionel Simpson.
Merle is survived by Bruce, her beloved husband of 67 years, her sons Myles, Neal (Dawn), and James (Franca).
She was extremely proud to be grandmother to Matthew (Niki), Rhett (Jo), Liane (Jeremy), and Sara (Kurtis), and great grandmother to Chase.
She was looking forward to meeting her second great grandchild. Merle will be greatly missed by her brother Richard Simpson (Janice) and she will be fondly remembered by family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Southlake Regional Health Centre for their compassionate care.
A funeral service will be held at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 2:00PM with visitation to commence at 1:00PM. Interment at Uxbridge Cemetery to follow after the funeral service. Reception to follow Interment in the fellowship lounge of the funeral home.
