Davies LoisDAVIES, Lois Helen (nee Field) -
June 26th, 1930 - January 30th, 2024
Passed away at Lakeridge Gardens at the age of 93.
She is predeceased by her husband Bill (2003) after over 50 years of marriage.
Lois is survived by her children Scott (June), Brett (Kandy), Megan, Lesley (Dan), and her sister Kathy (Bob) and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is also predeceased by her sister June, brother George, and sister Lorna.
Lois had 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren (predeceased by 1 great granddaughter), and 3 great-great grandsons.
During the 1970's she volunteered at Scarborough General Hospital on the 5th floor as the play lady as she was affectionately called teaching ill children how to do different crafts during their stay.
Lois had an amazing voice and would always be singing while in the kitchen making dinner.  She loved to do oil paintings and draw.  She also loved to write short stories in which one was published in Reader's Digest which she was so proud of.
Her talents were endless but above all she always let you know that you were loved and everyone let her know that she was loved.
Mom we will love you forever until the end of our time and hopefully beyond.
Cremation has taken place and was entrusted to McDougall and Brown at the Scarborough location.
A small family gathering will be planned for a later date to celebrate her life.
