Peacefully at his residence on Friday March 8th, 2024, at 70 years of age.
Beloved son of the late Al and Lois Harpell and son in law of the late John and Mavis.
Loving father of Tracey (Jason) and Grant (Christie).
Cherished Grampie of Taylor (Dom), Ashley (Evan), Brianna, Benjamin, Joshua and Daniel and great Grampie of Colton, Jayden, Rylee, Layla and Brooklyn.
Brother of Mike and the late Gregory and Paul. Predeceased by his fur babies Choua and Beau.
David will be fondly remembered by Sandra, his extended family and many friends.
David worked for Canada Post for 35 years, after his retirement in 2015 he kept busy by taking on a part time job driving a school bus for Durhamways. He enjoyed golfing, watching sports and his Rye and coke.
He was a very loving and caring person. He put a smile on everyone’s face when he walked into the room.
Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West on Thursday March 14th from 12:30pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:30pm. Cremation to follow.
