MENEZES, Georgeina Marie Menezes - It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Georgiana Menezes surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at the age of 88.
Beloved wife of Ivan for 69 years.
Adored mother of Barbara, Mario, Brian and Ann Marie. Proud grandma of Andrew, Janelle, Joseph, Ryan, Amanda, Tina, Rebecca, Kyle, Brian and all their spouses.
Great-grandma of River, Skyelynn, Anthony, Zachary, Peyton, Autumn, Ria, Citisyn, London, Evelyn, Arthur, Molly, Summer, Evelyn, Claire and Declan.
Georgiana is predeceased by her parents Henrik and Virginia and her siblings Ronney, Vincent, Tony and Gregory.
She will be greatly missed by extended family and friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, in Whitby, ON, from 2: 00p.m-4: 00p.m and 6: 00p.m to 9:00p.m.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at St. Mary of the People Parish, 570 Marion Ave, Oshawa, ON, at 11:00a.m.
She will be laid to rest at Duffin Meadows Cemetery, 2505 Brock Rd N, Pickering, ON, following funeral mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to The Lakeridge Health Foundation Oshawa Location-Cancer Unit would be much appreciated.
