ROSS, Anne Adair (nee Renwick) Ross -
SEPTEMBER 1, 1934 – MARCH 22, 2024
With sadness, we announce the passing of Anne Adair Ross in her 90th year in Ajax, Ontario on Friday, March 22, 2024.
Anne was predeceased by her husband and the love of her life, Roderick Colby Ross (2009).
She leaves their four children Margaret (Alan) Crashley, Rosalind (David) Lywood, Stephen (Lisa), and Robert (Oonagh).
Anne took great pride in their five grandchildren, Lauren (Patrick) Cook, Ian (Kristen) Crashley, Connor (Laura) Lywood, Colby (Stephanie) Ross, and Garrick (Jessica) Ross.
To the end Anne delighted in the antics and adventures of all nine great-grandchildren, Bronwyn, Isla, Cameron, William, Ava, Garrick, Sophie, Aria, and Coulton.
Anne attended Havergal College and went on to graduate as a nurse through St. Joseph's Hospital, Toronto. Anne was from an age when women tended primarily to the home.
Church and volunteer work were held in great regard. Ladies lunched and she enjoyed a good game of bridge.
Anne was a long standing member of Northminster United Church, Oshawa, the local chapter of the I.O.D.E., and the Oshawa Golf Club. She and Rod travelled extensively to many countries and enjoyed entertaining.
Their home was filled with laughter. Both were only children so they were filled with such joy in a full house. Anne will be missed.
