Son of William and Mary Burdey, born March 23, 1934 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

He was the loving husband to his wife and best friend of 62 years, Beatrice Burdey (nee Koblensky).

He will be forever remember and loved by his children Mitchell Burdey, Janet Albinet, Sue Williams (James Doig), and adored by his grandchildren, Jesse and Josh; Anna and Jack; Kristin, Alex and Shane along with his great grandchildren.
Beloved Brother to Stan Burdey (Laurie), Pat Winter (nee Burdey) (Gary, predeceased), and Ken Burdey (predeceased) (Helen), brotherinlaw to Lisa Wurm (Frank) and "Uncle Ron" to his nieces and nephews.
Ron retired from Consumers Gas after 36 years of service.

He loved to play golf, travel and enjoyed spending time with Family and Friends and got a great sense of joy out of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was a proud man with a great sense of humour and he taught us all well. He will be missed dearly.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 905-443-3376 to honour and celebrate a wonderful man.
