Rowinski MarieROWINSKI, Marie Elizabeth “Mona” (nee: McAdam)  - It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Marie on January 20th, 2018 one day shy of her 76th birthday.

Loving wife of 50 years to the late Michael Rowinski (2012).

Fun-loving mother to Terri-Lynn (Scott Hill) and Lori-Ann (Gerard Conlin).

Proud Nan to Meagan, Patrick, Daniel, and Carly.

Dearly missed by her sisters Margaret (David Armstrong), Colleen (Edward Wright), and Joan (Marty Atherfold). She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Marie and Mike shared many fond memories of their years spent at the Homestead Trailer Park on Eels Lake.

Marie was a long-time resident of Oshawa and worked for many years at Marks and Spencer.

She was known by many as a true friend with an incredible sense of humour.

Visitation will be held at  ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St E, Oshawa) on Wednesday January 24th from 2-4 and 7-9. A mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church (214 Simcoe St N, Oshawa) Thursday January 25th at 10:00am with reception to follow at St. Mary of the People Parish Hall (570 Marion Ave, Oshawa)
