SAMELLS, W. George  - It is with great sadness the Samells family announce George‚Äôs passing at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Thursday, March 22, 2018 in his 92nd year.

Beloved husband of Marilyn Wallace and the late Camie Samells.

Loving father of Linda Wescott (Larry) and Bill Samells (Connie).

Cherished grandpa of Tyler, Brittney, Jake, Samantha and Abby. Dear brother of Helen Hope (late Roger) and the late Edna Beckett (late John).

Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other family and friends. George was a long time employee of General Motors as well as a lifetime member of the United Church of Canada.

Visitation will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Port Perry, on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service in the chapel at 2 p.m. A reception will follow.

In memory of George, donations may be made to the Port Perry United Church or the Canadian Diabetes Association .
