HOOKER, Christopher Hooker  - 1944 - 2018 We are sad to announce that on Monday May 7th, 2018.

Christopher Edward Chantrey Hooker passed away peacefully at Scarborough Grace Hospital at the age of 73.

Chris was the son of the late Herbert and Lily (nee Payne) of London, England and is survived by his brothers Michael, Geoff (Anne) and daughters Elizabeth and Julia.

He was a devoted member of the Finsbury Park Cycling Club and an All London Road Race Champion.

Chris immigrated to Canada from London in 1968 and soon joined the Canadian Cycling Team representing Canada in

both road and track racing throughout the 1970s. He moved to Ajax from Calgary in 1984 and joined the IBEW 353. All his life Chris was a Tottenham Hotspurs supporter and an avid photographer who loved to travel.

A memorial visitation will be held at Accettone Funeral Home, Ajax on Saturday, May 26th from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimers Society or a CHARITY of your choice. His ashes will be taken to England later this year.
