SCHIERLING, Erika Irmgard (nee Liebner) - It is with sadness the family of Erika Schierling announces her passing.
Predeceased by her husband, Reinhard (2014).
She will be missed by her children, Randy (Sharron), Ralph and Heidi (Ron); grandchildren, Warren (Kathryn), Troy (Gab), Ian (Rachel) and Michelle (Zak); and great-grandchildren, Emelia and Celeste.
She also leaves behind relatives in Germany.
While she held numerous different jobs, she is best remembered as a school crossing guard at Morden and Lakeshore Road in Oakville.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 14th, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 15th, at 11:00 a.m., at Oakview Funeral Home, Oakville.
If you wish, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada in memory of Erika.
