Suzana Krstevska

2025 - March 7, 2025

With deepest sorrow and endless love, we announce the passing of Suzana Krstevska, who left this world peacefully on March 5th, 2025, in Windsor, Ontario, after an awe-inspiring 28-year battle with cancer. Though the illness tried to take so much from her, it never touched her spirit. She met every challenge with remarkable strength, never allowing it to dim her warmth, her laughter, or the immense love she carried in her heart. She fought with every ounce of her being, refusing to let cancer define her, and she lived every moment with resilience, grace, and unwavering love for her family.

Suzana was the foundation of her family, a devoted wife to Pero Krstevski, and the most loving, selfless mother to her beloved and only daughter, Nina Krstevska. Being a mother was her greatest joy, and she poured her entire soul into raising Nina with love, wisdom, and kindness. She nurtured her with endless patience, celebrated her every achievement, and taught her to meet life with the same strength and courage that defined Suzana herself. She did not just raise a daughter—she raised a kind-hearted, compassionate soul and enveloped her in a love so profound that it will echo for eternity.

Suzana’s love knew no limits. She was a woman who gave without expecting anything in return, who put everyone else before herself, even in her most difficult days. Her kindness radiated in everything she did—whether it was offering a comforting word, a helping hand, or a warm embrace. She had an unbreakable spirit, one that not even cancer could take from her. Through every treatment, every setback, and every moment of pain, she never lost her will to fight. She battled fiercely until the very end, determined to fill every moment with love, laughter, and life.

Beyond her devotion to her family, Suzana found joy in the beauty of the world around her. She had a special love for flowers, finding peace in their delicate petals and unwavering strength. Flowers were her sanctuary, their presence a reflection of the gentle yet unyielding spirit she carried within her. Whether tending to her garden, receiving a bouquet, or simply admiring nature’s artistry, Suzana saw in flowers a truth about life—beauty exists even in the most fleeting of moments, and love, like petals in the wind, is carried on forever. Just as flowers bloom despite the harshest seasons, Suzana carried on with grace, showing those around her what it truly meant to be strong.

Though she is no longer physically with us, Suzana’s love will never fade. It lives on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her, in the lessons she taught, in the love she gave so freely. She was a light in this world, and though that light now shines from above, it will never go out.

A service will be held for family and friends to honour her extraordinary life. In lieu of flowers, donations to breast cancer research are greatly appreciated, though flowers are also welcomed as a tribute to her deep love for their beauty.

Visitation will be held at Families First East Windsor (1065 Lauzon Road) 519-969-5841 on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, from 2-5 & 7-9pm. Prayers will be held at 4:30pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025, at St. Nicholas Macedonian Orthodox Church (5225 Howard Ave) at 11am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
