Linda Doforno nee DiMarco

December 7, 1955 – November 6, 2025

Woman with curly hair and glasses smiling.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Linda surrounded by her Family at The Erie Shores Hospice on Thursday, November 6th, 2025 at the age of 69. She is survived by her beloved Husband Manuel “Manny” of 48 years. Devoted Mother to Sarah (David) DeThomasis and Stephanie (Ramin) Ibrahim. The most loving Nonna and biggest fan of Grace, Josh, and Nick. In addition to her immediate Family, she is lovingly remembered by her Step Mother in-law Maria and cherished In-laws Preciosa (Ramiro), Domenic (Barb), Ernie (Val), Marie (Brian), Clara (Lorne), Luie (Jan), Paul (Heather), Rick (Mandy), and Carmen. Also survived by many Nieces and Nephews. Bonded since childhood like Sisters, her friend Toni “Dunada” Cook. Predeceased by her Parents Raffaele and Maria, and Sister Gina in infancy, also Parents in-law Antonio and Rosa.

One of the greatest joys in Linda’s life was found in the vibrant energy of her grandchildren. She was their most dedicated fan, and a constant presence in the stands of every hockey game, or on the bleachers of the baseball or soccer fields. If she wasn’t cheering on her grandchildren she was happiest sharing in a family meal or playing card and board games with her family. She was very proud of her 25 years of employment at Richmond Terrace as a RNA. Upon retirement she followed her love of fashion working retail at Devonshire Mall.

The most heartfelt thank you to the Doctors, Nurses, and Volunteers at The Erie Shores Hospice for their exceptional care and support, in addition to Leamington Hospital, Para-Med Nurses.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda’s memory to The Erie Shores Hospice.

Visitation will be held at Families First Amherstburg (585 Sandwich St S.) 519-969-5841 on Monday, November 10th, 2025 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm.
