Bruno Caravaggio

1939 – December 18, 2024

Peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 85, on December 18, 2024. Bruno is survived by his loving wife, Angela Rosa (Rosetta), with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.

Proud father of Angela Spano (Dave) and Mike (Nancy). Adored Nonno to Felicia (Patrick), Jessica, Lucas, Mikaila, and Christian. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Nick (late Giorgia), late Ernesto (Angela), late Armando (Giovannina), Donatina (late Rodolfo), and late Franco (Antonietta). Predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Grazia, and in-laws, Michele and Angelina.

Bruno was the heart of his family, providing wisdom and strength to everyone around him. As the proud owner of AFB Auto Electric for over 40 years, he left a lasting legacy in both his personal and professional life. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends in Canada and Italy.

Visitation: Friday, December 20, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel.

Funeral Mass: Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Canadian Martyrs Church. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington, Ontario.

Rest in peace, Bruno. You were our guiding light, our rock, and our hero. Your endless love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew you.

Victor Heleno

1941 – December 18, 2024

Surrounded by the love of his wife and children, Victor Heleno peacefully passed away on December 18, 2024, at the Hamilton General Hospital, in his 83rd year. Victor will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and cherished friend to many.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel, 43 Barton Street East, Hamilton, on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 2:00–4:00 PM and 5:00–7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 9:00 AM, with entombment to follow.

Victor will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Josephine Consiglio-Di Cenzo (née Cipolla)

1944 – December 18, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Josephine Consiglio-Di Cenzo, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 80 on December 18, 2024. Predeceased by her loving first husband Vincenzo Consiglio and her adoring second husband Benito Di Cenzo.

Josephine was a devoted mother to Gerri (Doug) Dobbs, Stefano (Linsay), Paulo (Lisa), and Pasquale. She was a cherished Nonna to Amber, Chloe, Matteo, Ella, Enzo, and Luca. Predeceased by her parents Epifanio and Giuseppina Cipolla, as well as her in-laws Stefano and Gerlanda Consiglio. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings and siblings-in-law, Joseph (Donna) Cipolla and Frank (Josie) Cipolla.

Josephine will be remembered as a tough, no-nonsense woman who loved her family unconditionally. She will be deeply missed by her cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members, each holding their own special memories of her. A heartfelt thank you is extended to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Hamilton General Hospital, Juravinski Hospital, and McMaster Hospital for their compassionate care.

Visitation will be held at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 2:00–4:00 PM and 6:00–8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will take place at All Souls Church on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM, followed by cremation.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hamilton Health Sciences would be appreciated by the family. Josephine will remain “Forever in our hearts and always in our prayers.”

Mary-Anne DeMedeiros

Passed Away: December 12, 2024

We are saddened to announce the passing of Mary-Anne DeMedeiros at the Juravinski Hospital on December 12, 2024, at the age of 71 years. Mary-Anne was deeply loved and will be missed by her family and friends.

Family and friends will be received at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Daniel Willison
2024

After a courageous battle, we announce the passing of Daniel at home on October 14, 2024, at the age of 75. Cherished husband of Maria for 52 years. Loving father of Candy Vicente (Emanuel) and Melissa Trapani (Mario). Adoring grandfather of Mikael, Milena, and Alexander. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Lucy Willison and his in-laws John and Trinity Pacheco.

Dear brother of Randy, Wayne, Paul, Linda, David, Harold, and Lisa. Dear brother-in-law of Joe Pacheco (the late Margaret), Tony Pacheco (Lynn), and Johnny Pacheco (Jackie). Daniel will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre, St. Joseph’s Home Care, and the VON. Visitation will be held at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St. E.) on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 2-4 & 5-8 pm. A funeral mass will be held at Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King (714 King St. W.) on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 11 am, with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Burlington.
