Married Tricia in Scotland on April 12, 1969 (55 amazing years) and immigrated to Canada in March of 1970.

Shortly thereafter, they moved to Whitby to build a family together.

Worked as a Tool & Die Maker and over the years was promoted to Director of Operations at many automotive companies.

Highly respected Past Master of David T. Campbell Masonic Lodge, “a Brother to many”. Past President of the Whitby Rangers Club bringing together fans and families.

A golf enthusiast playing numerous golf courses around the world with his buddies.

Best Dad in 10 towns to Lisa (husband Mike), Courtney (husband Steve) and John (wife Jamie).

Best Grandad in 10 towns to Ryan, Johnny, Lauren, Claire and Camryn.

Beloved son of Betty and the late John Lawrence.

Much loved brother of Rosemary and David (wife Elaine).

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 1:30 pm at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, 905-579-6787 (South of Taunton Road, enter through gates off Dryden Blvd.)

A celebration of Stewart’s life will follow from 2 pm until 4 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
