Peacefully at University Hospital on Sunday, June 29th, Richard Edward (Moe) ADAMS in his 61st year.
Predeceased by his parents John and Mary, brothers Allan, Ronnie and Michael, and sister-in-law Cathy. Survived by his wife Nicky, stepdaughter Roxanne, brothers John (Betty), Norman (Darlene), Raymond, and sister Debbie.
Loving uncle to Yvonne (Scott) Huston, Kimberly (Darryl) Becker, Lyndsay (Craig) Lazzaro, Chris Adams, Shawn (Breeanna) Adams, and Melissa (Dan) Atkinson. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews.
Rick was a social butterfly and had many friends near and far. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. His love of family, friends and animals and gift of gab were some of his strong points. Whether it was his 25 cent back scratches or being a jungle gym for his nieces and nephews, he was a big part of any family get-together.
He tackled his cancer diagnosis with strength and dignity.
A cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Any donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
