ALDEA, Florence Aldea

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Florence Aldea announce her passing. She passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026, at the age of 90, with her family by her side.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Terry John Aldea (2023), and her parents, Nora and George Hatnean. She is survived by her two sons, Terry (Jasna) Aldea and David Aldea (Patrick Pilkington), her two granddaughters, Ashley Aldea and Stephanie Aldea, and her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

She was a proud legal assistant at the prestigious Honigman law firm in Detroit, where she took great pride in her work for many years. She found joy in the things she loved most: tending to her garden, a good day of shopping, and escaping the cold for her cherished winters in Florida. She was never one to turn down a cold Manhattan or a glass of white wine, always enjoyed in good company. A friend to many, she brought warmth and laughter to everyone lucky enough to know her.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to her two dedicated PSWs, Krystal Bennett and Lileth Hamada, for their compassionate care and kindness. Sincere gratitude is also extended to the staff at Windsor Regional Met and Ouellette campus.

Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL(Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E (519) 253-7235 on Sunday July 12, 2026 from 5 to 9pm. Prayers at 7pm. Relatives and friends will be received for visitation on Monday July 13, 2026 at Descent of the Holy Ghost Romanian Orthodox Church (2895 Seminole Street) from 9am until time of funeral services at 10am.
