ALLEN, Wilton David Allen

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Evangeline Wilton, and his late father, Robert Wilton. He is also fondly remembered by his siblings, Ruth Wilton and Tim Wilton (Pauline Johnston), as well as his mother- and father-in-law, Marilyn Wells and the late Edward Wells, and by his brothers- and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Dave loved his career as an Ontario Land Surveyor and was proud to be the owner of Speight, Van Nostrand & Gibson Limited, the oldest surveying company in Ontario. He treasured the lifelong friendships he built throughout his career.

He was also deeply grateful for the many friends, especially those who supported him and his family during the difficult times of his illness.

Dave found joy in curling, woodworking, fishing, camping, sailing, skiing, and “puttering” around his home in Erin. But above all, he loved driving his Camaro on a sunny day with his family by his side.

Dave will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

A funeral service for David will be conducted on Friday August 29, 2025 at the Christ Church Anglican in Meaford, ON at 2:30 p.m.
