ARD, Joan Isabel Ard

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who passed away peacefully on May 29th, 2026.

Joan Isabel Ard was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jim.

She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly, including her children, David (Sheri) and Gwenyth (Bertrand); her grandchildren, Darcy (Amber), Derek (Emily), Lindsay (Ryan) and Kayla; and her great-grandchildren, Elye, Veronica, Lochlan, Scarlett, Meadow and Ewan.

Joan is survived by her brother, David Gordon Campbell, and will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, as well as the many cherished friends she made throughout her life.

In keeping with Joan’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Joan was a humble and caring person who never wanted any fuss, and asked that no funeral arrangements be made.
