Peacefully, at home, on Wednesday August 27, 2025, a lifelong resident of RR# 1 Paris, in his 81st year. Doug was a lifelong farmer on the family farm which has been in the family since 1922. Hunting was a favourite pastime with family and friends.

Beloved Husband to Margaret (nee Moran) for 58 years; Loved Dad to Nancy, Karen (Melvin Bergsma) and Roy; Cherished Grandpa to Austin, Julie, Jacob, Richard (Abi) Josh (Jessica) and Andrew (Myah) and Great Grandpa to Rylan, Auden and Hudson; he is survived by his Brother-in-law Tom Green and his Lifelong Friend Eleanor Taylor. Dear Uncle to David, Deborah and Richard.

Predeceased by his parents Roy and Claire, a baby brother Paul, sister Ruth Green and his uncle Joe.

Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Friday August 29, 2025 from 6-9 PM and on Saturday from 10-11 AM. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 AM.
