Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the age of 38.

Cherished son of Deana McNee-McLeod (Floyd), stepfather Marcus Martin (2015), and the late Donald Baird (1994). Proud and devoted father to Christiana. Loving brother to John Dean (Angel), Donald Baird (Christine), Natasha (Jacob), and his step-siblings Kari Martin, Tammy Martin, Sheila Martin, and Marcus Martin.

Predeceased by his sisters Melissa (2019) and Deana (2016). Christopher Donald Baird will be deeply missed by his extended family and many dear friends.

Chris had a smile that could light up any room. Known as a gentle giant, he touched the hearts of all who knew him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and brought laughter wherever he went. Chris enjoyed boxing, rap music, his Tim Hortons coffee, and good food—but above all else, he loved his family, and he absolutely adored his daughter, Christiana.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 93 Lansdowne Ave, Woodstock, ON. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Chris’s memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association. Personal condolences may be shared at www.smithleroy.com.
