BARICHELLO, John Barichello

October 25, 2025 - May 4, 1939

It is with a heavy heart, we share the news of John Barichello’s passing. He left us peacefully on Saturday, October 25th, at around 4:30 p.m. in his nursing home in Barrie.

A long-time and faithful member of God’s Church, John devoted many years of service. He was the beloved husband of Anne for 47 years, a loving father to their son, Michael, grandfather to Olivia and Isaiah, and a cherished Uncle John to his many nieces and nephews.

John will be deeply missed for his wonderful stories, his laughter, and his infectious personality, which touched everyone who knew him.

A service to celebrate John’s life will be held on Monday, November 3rd, at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. A reception will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. A Livestream of the service will be made available here, about 10 minutes ahead of the service start time.
