BARRETT, Lorrilynn Marie Barrett

She known lovingly to many as Lynn, passed away on May 10, 2026, in London, Ontario at the age of 56. Born on December 1, 1969, in Tillsonburg, Ontario, Lynn lived a life marked by quiet strength, steady devotion, and a generous spirit that touched all who knew her. She was a woman of deep faith and lived her life as a Christian with grace and humility. Those who had the privilege of knowing her will remember her as kind, intelligent, and generous, qualities that were evident in the way she carried herself and in the care she extended to others each day.

Lorrilynn Marie Barrett devoted a long and respected career to her work as a receptionist and bookkeeper at an Accounting Firm in Tillsonburg, Ontario. In that role, she became known for her reliability, her attention to detail, and her calm, welcoming presence. She was the kind of person who made others feel at ease, whether answering the phone, organizing important records, or offering a reassuring word. Her professionalism and dedication earned the trust and admiration of colleagues and clients alike, and her contributions were valued far beyond the duties of her position.

Outside of work, Lynn found joy in the simple and meaningful pleasures in life. She was an avid reader who appreciated the comfort and escape found within the pages of a good book. She enjoyed knitting, a pastime that reflected both her patience and her thoughtful nature. Music was also cherished part of her life, bringing her peace, comfort, and happiness in many seasons. Above all, she had a deep love for her cat, whose companionship brought her warmth and delight. Her affection for animals was a reflection of her tender heart and her capacity for unconditional love.

Lynn will be remembered not only for what she did, but for who she was. She had a way of making others feel seen and valued, and her presence brought a sense of calm and kindness to those around her. She was intelligent in her understanding, generous in her actions, and steadfast in her care for others. Her life was a quiet testament to the beauty of compassion, loyalty, and faithfulness in everyday living.

Her passing leaves a deep emptiness in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, yet her memory will remain a source of comfort and gratitude. The legacy she leaves behind is found in the many lives she touched through her work, her friendships, and her gentle example. In moments of reflection, those who loved her may find comfort in the words of Helen Keller, who said, β€œWhat we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us”. Lynn’s presence, love and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of many.

May she be remembered with love, respect, and enduring affection.

Lynn leaves behind her mother Mary Barrett, sister Tracy Barrett (Kris), nephews Nathan DeJong and Seth DeJong.
