BEATON, Jeanette Yvonne Beaton

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Jeanette Beaton, a long time resident of Ridgetown, on February 22, 2026, at the age of 88. Born in Chatham, Jeanette was the beloved daughter of the late Lloyd and Edna (née Willsie) Fox. She was the devoted wife of the late Rondal “Ron” Beaton, with whom she shared many cherished years of love, partnership, and devotion.

Jeanette was a loving mother to Denny and his wife Joyce, Cathy Hathaway, and Mark and his wife Tracy; Jeanette was a constant source of love, guidance, and quiet strength. She was also a proud and cherished grandmother to Tara, Shannon, Brittany, and Wes, and great grandmother to Everly, Ivan, Drew, Joyce Jane and Willow, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Jeanette was an active and dedicated member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ridgetown Legion Branch #243, where she greatly enjoyed the camaraderie and fellowship. Alongside her husband Ron, she was the former owner and operator of Beaton’s Valu Mart, a business that became a valued part of the Ridgetown community. In her quieter moments, Jeanette found joy in thrifting and antiquing – a pastime she especially loved sharing with Ron – often discovering small treasures along the way. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR and golf, passions that brought her both excitement and relaxation.

In keeping with Jeanette’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held at a later date.

She will be lovingly remembered for her gentle spirit, warm heart, and the deep love she held for her family.
