Lorraine Marie Bennison

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorraine Marie Bennison at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice on April 13, 2026 with family and friends by her side. She is the loving mother of Corey (Andrea), Kristen(Dan), and Michael. Dear grandmother of Kylie, Hailey, Dylan and Adrien. Treasured sister of Monique (Mike), Marc (Wendy) and Gerry (Lianne).

Survived by her nieces, nephew, and extended family.

She is predeceased by her parents Adrien and Anita, her daughter Pamela, and sister in law Janet.

Lorraine Marie Bennison will be remembered most for the deep love she carried for her family, a love that shaped every part of her life. She found her greatest joy in being a grandmother to Kylie, Hailey, Dylan, and Adrien, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Time spent with them was her greatest treasure.

She also held dear the treasured moments and memories she shared with Marc at his cottage—peaceful days, quiet conversations, and simple joys that became some of the most meaningful times of her life.

She had a gift for creating beauty, most evident in her flower gardens, where she spent many peaceful hours tending to blooms that reflected her care and patience. Her home was often filled with the comforting aroma of freshly baked treats, as baking was one of her favorite ways to bring happiness to those around her.

Lorraine also held her friendships close, nurturing them with kindness, loyalty, and a generous spirit. She had a way of making people feel welcome and valued, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Her legacy lives on in the love she gave so freely and the memories she created with family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Cremation has taken place and Lorraine will be interred with her beloved daughter Pam at the South River Cemetery.
