BHALLA, Krishna Bhalla

Passed away peacefully at University Hospital, London. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband, Puran Chand Bhalla and her parents, Ram and Chinto Dhawan. She is survived by her daughter Dr. Rashmi Bhalla, grandchildren Shivani and Vishnu Rai and son Kapil Bhalla (Kiran) and grandchildren Tania and Daksh Bhalla.

Krishna was born in Punjab, India and immigrated to Canada in 1969. She lived in Kitchener/Waterloo and in Cambridge before moving to Sarnia in the 1980, where she owned and operated the Faulds Motel for 25 years.

Krishna was a genuine, kind soul. She was always cheerful and happy. Her greatest joy in life was supporting her children, grandchildren, extended family and friends. She was always ready to help anyone in need. In her younger days she enjoyed road trips and picnics with family and friends and epic camping trips to Darien Lakes. In her Sarnia years, she loved playing slots at the Point Edward Casino. Krishna loved being a hostess and inviting half the town over for dinner. Whether she was serving kulfi at her pool parties, making home-made pizza from scratch, enjoying a peach schnapps or whipping up a good old-fashioned cup of chai, she always made everyone feel welcome. The void that is left by her passing cannot be filled, but we can hang on to our fondest memories of her. She will forever be in our hearts.

A visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., and procession of family and close friends to Woodland Crematorium, 493 Springbank Drive, London.
