Audrey Lorraine Blatherwick

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Audrey Lorraine Blatherwick in her 91st year. Lorraine passed away on Saturday, March 28th, at Belleville General Hospital, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Cherished daughter of the late Roy and Hazel Belshaw. Predeceased by her beloved husband, George Blatherwick, with whom they shared 53 happy years of marriage.

Deeply loved and profoundly missed by Sarah and Bryan Brennan. Lorraine was the proud grandma of Nathanial (Cassandra), Mikayla (Todd), and Annalyssa (Chass) and equally proud great-grandma of Adalynn, Avery, Lukas, Maisyn, and Navy Lorraine.

Audrey Lorraine Blatherwick will be lovingly remembered by all of her extended family and many friends.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Lorraine, knew how generous and a kind soul she was. Her favourite pastime was horse racing and she had a huge heart for animals. Lorraine was a proud longtime member of the Ontario Harness Horse Association and an Honorary Member of Standard Bred Canada.

Lorraine will forever reside in the hearts of her loved ones.

Arrangements entrusted to RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOME – BELLEVILLE (80 Highland Ave. 613-968-5588). A visitation will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. A procession will immediately follow to lay Lorraine to rest at Riverview Cemetery – Shannonville. Family and friends are then invited back to Rushnell Reception Centre for a luncheon and refreshments. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada, the Humane Society of Hastings and Prince Edward and/or a charity of choice.
