BOURDON, Denis Bourdon

Passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Huron Hospice – Bender House. Denis was born Sunday, March 8, 1953, in Cornwall, Ontario. A son of the late Lionel Bourdon and Germaine née Bourbonnais, Denis was raised in both Cornwall and Garson, Ontario. Denis proudly became an electrician and worked for forty years underground at Falconbridge, Rio Algom, Placer Dome, and Sifto Salt mining operations. A talented person, Denis enjoyed playing his guitar, lifting weights and you would often find him cruising the roads of Huron-Perth on his motorcycle. People who knew Denis, will remember a kind-hearted, generous person who was always willing to lend a neighbour a helping hand. Denis is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Patricia (Jones) Bourdon; one son, Shamus Bourdon (wife Stacey); Three sisters, Margo Pelletier (husband Leo, children Luc and Andre), Marquise Harris (husband Stephen, children Erin, Zachary, and Thomas), Joanne Perron (husband Yvan, children Brianne, Charlotte, and Felix); and three grandchildren, Noah, Joshua, and Hannah Bourdon.
