BROWN, Jean Dorothy Brown

December 9, 1939 - September 16, 2025

Passed away peacefully at Fairvern Nursing Home in Huntsville on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, she was in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Archie Brown. Cherished mother of Bonnie Loy (Peter) and Michael Brown (Donna). Proud grandmother of Christopher (Stacy), Alex (Amanda), Amanda (Brian), Justin, Ashely (Cole) and great-grandmother of Rylee, Mason, Liam, Nash and Finn. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Betty and Lloyd (Cynthia), she is predeceased by her sister Ellie and her parents Godlip and Dorothy. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Monday, September 22, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Opatovsky Funeral Home- Dempster Chapel followed by a Graveside service at Burks Falls Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. If desired, donations to Alzheimer’s Society or charity of choice would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
