Passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Marigold Hospice, Newcastle.
Prior, he was a resident of Clarington Place Retirement Residences and lived at Wilmot Creek for 13 years before that.
He shared a home for over 50 years in Courtice with his wife Margaret, and raised their 4 children there.
Victor Tibor Budai retired form General Motors after 31 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but his greatest love and joy was his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was the beloved husband for 62 years of Margaret (Piper, deceased, 2013).
Dear father of Tom (deceased) Larry (Dawn) Tracy, Lisa (Steve).
Grandfather to Wade (Trudy) Matthew, Adam (Suzanne), Ryan (Kathryn) D.J (Kaylee) and Halle (Kyle).
Great grand father to Joie, Layla, Parker, Wesley, Alice, Piper and Mason.
A private service for the family will be held at a later time.
