BURWELL, Thera Alice Burwell

Peacefully at Caressant Care in Courtland, Ontario, Thera Alice Burwell passed away at 89 years of age. Loving wife to the late William Burwell.

Predeceased by her siblings Bernard (Lillian) Genders, John Genders, Jean Burwell (Merritt), David Genders (Sherry) and Allan Genders, several nieces and nephews including Beverley Hawel, Paul Newton, Linda Belore and Cindy Anderson and friend Janice Buchner.

Visitation will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, ON N4G 3T6 (519) 842-5221 on Thursday March 26, 2026 from 10:00am until 11:00am. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am following the visitation in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jim Rowbottom officiating. Burial will be held immediately following the service at Springford Community Cemetery. Donations in memory of Alice can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and can be done online or via cheque payable to the Charity by contacting the funeral home.
